The Dive with Mar Team

Mar would be completely lost without her Fantastic Team!

Sheila - Sheila helps with all training and logistics. She is certified as a Rescue Diver and is currently working on her Divemaster certification. Sheila has completed her NAS 1 and is an executive member of the Huron Shores chapter of Save Ontario Shipwrecks and of the Southwestern Ontario Divers' Association. Sheila has been diving since 1998, diving on the East Coast, in the Bahamas, India and extensively in the Great Lakes. Sheila has logged 430 dives.

Steven - A.K.A. "SCUBA Steve" is a Divemaster and assists in all levels of instruction. Steve has also taken Advanced Nitrox and is planning on taking Cavern and Intro to Cave Diving this year. Steve is an executive member of the Southwestern Ontario Divers' Association and has logged over 400 dives since 1999.

Derek - Derek is Mar's web guy! He helps out with technical issues that might come up at divewithmar.ca. He also helps out with snorkel clinics. Derek is an Advanced Open Water Diver, has recently completed the NAS 1 course and aspires to complete his Rescue Diver and Basic Nitrox courses this year. Derek enjoys underwater photography & videography and has experience diving in the Great Lakes & the Caribbean. He is also an executive member of the Southwestern Ontario Divers' Association. Derek has logged 40 dives since 2010.

Karen - Karen is the team photographer. She also helps run the Public Relations department by welcoming divers to pool nights. Karen is an Advanced Open Water Diver and has been diving since 2010. She will be working on her Nitrox and Rescue Diver courses this year. Karen also completed her NAS 1 in May 2011. She is also an executive member of the Southwestern Ontario Divers' Association. To date, Karen has logged 40 dives.

Bob - Bob provides students with dive support. He is certified as an Advanced Open Water & Nitrox Diver and plans on completing his Rescue Diver certification soon with hopes of eventually becoming an instructor. Bob has logged 109 dives since 2006. He has been diving extensively in the Caribbean and in the Great Lakes. Bob enjoys underwater photography and is getting into videography. Bob is also an executive member of the Southwestern Ontario Divers' Association.

Terry - Terry is an Advanced Open Water Diver with basic Nitrox. He helps out when needed. Terry has been diving since 2008 and has logged over 250 dives. He has been diving extensively in the St. Clair River and in the Great Lakes. Terry is also an executive member of the Southwestern Ontario Divers' Association.

Blake - Blake is a certified Rescue Diver. He enjoys helping out with the new students and seeing them gain confidence in the pool and open water. He has been diving since 2007 and has logged around 200 dives mostly in the Great Lakes waters. He is planning on working towards his Dive Master and eventually working towards becoming an instructor.

Don - Don is in charge of opening the West Coast Chapter of Dive with Mar! Don is a certified Divemaster with thousands of dives logged all over the world.
