Decompression Procedures Diver

Who is this course for?
In this course, you will be looking at what some call the "Dark Side" of diving but we know as diving past the recreational diving limits. This course is for any diver looking for a challenge because this is a very challenging course. We will take you from 130 to 150 ft bringing your skills to an Explorer's Level! This course is often paired up with the Extended Range Diver course. When combined, the Decompression Procedures Diver and Extended Range Diver courses are a fantastic segue into the Tri-Mix Diver course.

Are there any Pre-Requisites for this course?
The Pre-Requisites for this course are:

  • You must be certified as an Advanced Nitrox Diver or equivalent
  • You will be required to provide proof of your dive experiences (ie. a Logbook)

What does this course involve?
This course consists of several classroom lectures and multiple planned dives. Students must have an intimate knowledge of how their gear functions.  Students will learn how to plan their dives using decompression software.  

What do I need to bring with me?
At this level, students are responsible for providing their own gear including an appropriate exposure suit.
