Wreck Diver

Who is this course for?
Diving around a shipwreck, looking at history, is a lot of fun! This very beneficial course teaches you how to navigate around a wreck in order to make for a safer dive. It is recommended that any students who are successful in this course and interested in shipwrecks further their education by taking courses offered by the Nautical Archaeology Society. 

Are there any Pre-Requisites for this course?
The Pre-Requisites for this course are:

  • You must be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver

What does this course involve?
This course consists of classroom content, lectures and dive time. Being comfortable using your own gear is an asset. Students will be learning how to use reels and lift bags as well as discussing why they are important to the Wreck Diver.

What do I need to bring with me?
At this level, students are responsible for providing their own gear.
